SHE IS created to create.

Creativity has looked different in different seasons of my life.
As a child I would spend hours creating productions and practicing the songs and dances.
I enlisted neighborhood friends and my little sister to sing in the choir that stood in perfect formation on the garage steps.😂 We made tickets and went out in the neighborhoods to invite anyone we could convince to come.

I can still remember how important it felt to me to create an experience to share with others. I think I even had alter calls at the end sometimes.
Our little garage became a sacred space in those moments. Moments that were shaping and forming my tender spirit.

Later creativity looked like giving birth to 5 babies, creating a home and planting a faith community. Those precious and hard times were again forming my (not so tender at times😉) spirit.

Through the years I’ve learned that sometimes you have to be creative in how you are able to create space for creativity to flow in your life. It’s definitely not always easy, but it’s definitely worth it!
