SHE IS living her days with
open hands.

Most of my life I’ve been a much better giver than a receiver. Didn’t really think this was a negative thing...
until I realized it was.

My hands represented work. And giving whenever and whatever to whomever...
You can only do that for so long until you end up empty handed.

The day I found myself empty handed was the day I found God to be everything I had hoped him to be.

It was in that season I learned the only thing he wanted, was me.

Now instead of hands representing striving, they were opened in surrender and freely able to receive.

When those same hands were open to receiving
the whole equation changed.
After all, I had unlimited access to unlimited resources from the one who created everything that is.

Life is made up of seasons showing us
an example of the perfect rhythm of
receiving and giving.

You weren’t designed to do one without the other.
