Last Thursday I did a "throw back" pic to the previous week when I was in Guatemala.  If you missed it you can read it HERE...

In that blog post I shared about getting to talk about my time in Guatemala with my Amplify Church family.  I loved that we had all the children stay in service with us that day.  We put together a sheet with information about my trip and gave it to them along with some crayons. At Amplify we are big believers that our children need to have the opportunity to experience God along side of us adults.  Their child like faith has led the way for us at times and their heart to serve others is inspiring!

This past Sunday I was given this $10 bill from an 8 year old little girl named Lindsey.  She said it was for the babies.

I have a feeling this won't be the last time Lindsey gives towards this project and I can't wait to see her adorable little grin in November when she adds up all that she has given to help rescue and provide care for the precious babies.

It takes $1200 to rescue a baby and I am committed to raising money for 5 babies which is $6,000 by November.

As scary as it was to commit to that goal,  it is so worth being scared over!

My fear is nothing compared to the mothers I saw holding their sick babies that will die if they don't get the help they need.

This is so doable friends...
