#WEDIDITWEDNESDAY #WEREMEMBER

"I want to remember that my feet stood on this soil and in that moment I knew I could make a difference." IN CASE YOU MISSED IT... a few minutes after Midnight WE rescued our 1st Baby! My heart is overwhelmed this morning as I again read the words I wrote after getting back from Guatemala. Thank you friends for hearing my heart and responding! TOGETHER we are making a difference ...and for that I am grateful! ❤ xx ‪#‎WERemember‬ ‪#‎operationbabyrescue‬ ‪#‎amplifyLOVE‬‪#‎LALIRESCUE15‬

Let's Celebrate Mother's Day by Rescuing a Child!

Today we are celebrating Mothers.  I honor and celebrate my Mother who every day modeled for me a life surrendered to God and a life of unselfishly serving others.  I celebrate all you Moms out there that give so much to your children.  EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. I'm looking forward to spending the day with my 5 children and I feel so blessed. Yet I am so aware of those I am surrounded by that today is bittersweet... I snapped pictures while I was there and as I was scrolling through them...

"Do you want to be safe, or do you want to change the world?"

Even though a little sleep deprived, I loved having the opportunity to share about my days in Guatemala this past week. I'm still unpacking physically and spiritually all that I brought back... susan xx "Do you want to be safe, or do you really want to change the world? The conflict is that we want to be brave, we want to take risks... but we also want to be safe. The problem is, we can't have it both ways." Noel Brewer Yeatts  from her book  "AWAKE"
