Thankful for...
This year we have a "Thankful Tree" at church that we have decorated with the
things that we as a community of believers are thankful for.
The "FALLing In Love" series we did earlier this Fall really challenged me
to take a deeper look at the things I say "I love."
We can live at such a fast pace that we don't even allow ourselves to stop and feel life.
We say we love God, we did commit our life to Him at some point, but maybe we haven't put much into the relationship in a while.
And of course, I love my spouse, even though I don't really show him because I am so tired from all the things that I have to do!
But he knows I do...just like my kids know. They can see through all my stress and yelling that I love them and all that I do for them proves how much I do.
REALLY?
I don't think we really want our lives to look like this.
Let's strive to live a life where our actions prove our professions.
That series rejuvenated my love for God, my family, and the people in my city.
I have a renewed sense of His love for me, not because of anything I do,
but simply because I was His idea.
I'm loving my family in a greater way.
I'm loving my city through fresh eyes of compassion and hope.
This has led me to have a deeper attitude of thanksgiving this year.
When you really take the time to give and receive love you feel thankful.
What are you thankful for?
I am thankful for...
a God that planned and purposed me to have breath.
I am thankful for...
parents that loved me.
I am thankful for...
fun filled memories growing up in a family of seven.
I am thankful for...
falling in love with my husband Ron 25 years ago.
I am thankful for...
Five healthy children that bring me such joy and pleasure.
I am thankful for...
my Amplify Church family that I get to enjoy life with.
I am thankful for...
grace that allows me to live an on purpose life
in total freedom!
